Der Victory-II Class Star Destroyer diente nicht mehr in den Klonkriegen. After the Zann Consortium War, the Republic began an overhaul to build new classes of ships so that they would not sustain.
It took the advantages of previous designs and attempted to iron out the weaknesses that have plagued them for so long. The Viceroy-class Star Destroyer was designed as an advanced destroyer, more powerful than it's predecessors, such as the Imperial and Pellaeon-classes. Obwohl die Schiffe nur circa 900 Meter Länge aufweisen und somit für einen Sternzerstörer relativ klein. Die Sternzerstörer der Victory I-Klasse (kurz: VSD I) zählen zu den ältesten im Imperium produzierten Schiffsmodellen und traten ihren Dienst bereits gegen Ende der Klonkriege unter republikanischer Flagge an. Within the Imperial Navy, Victory -class Star Destroyers were considered second only to Imperial -class Star Destroyers for most operations in the Outer Rim Territories against pirates and Rebels Victory-Class I Star Destroyer.
